I keep getting a message on the Sat Nav saying that the retarder is activated and to press ' to turn it off. I've been pressing it repeatedly, and it isn't turning off. Could this be why my truck hasn't gone above 17mph for the last half an hour? Also, before this problem my Cruise Control stopped working. Heeeelp!
Cruise control does not activate anymore and the engine retarder keeps knocking down the speed to fast, I use a keyboard and mouse and on long trips, my "w" key finger is killing me because of this problem. The key to deactivate the retarder, as per the instruction that I get is the period key "." but this is not working. Anyone got any ideas please, Thank you
Re: simple automatic with retarder. "simple automatic" is simple, arcade way of driving truck. up arrow goes forwards, down arrow goes backwards (or brakes). in addition it brakes standing truck automatically when no arrow is pressed. "real automatic" is like real auto transmission, select direction and the use throttle (up) or brake (down). .
