The best controllers for Forza 7 are definitely the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. They allow you to have a much better grip on the car and make it easier to control through the sticks. If you don’t have either of those, then using a PlayStation 4 controller for playing on PS4 will be totally fine. Simply adding a dirt texture with reduced traction doesn't make for a proper dirt experience. If they don't do it right, it shouldn't be done at all. Adding dirt properly to Motorsport should be a pretty big undertaking. Forza Motorsport is a solid track racing game. It does a competent job at that.
