Be sure to work with a cool engine and disconnect the battery before beginning. E90 models can come with a few alternator amperage ratings. Be sure your replacement alternator has the same rating as faulty unit.

The Torque is 15nm or 11 ft/lbs so not very much surprisingly. 11lbs.. that is a lot less than I thought but being a composite intake it may be enough. Thanks guys. M7 x 1.0 bolts only take 15Nm/11lb-ft no matter what you're bolting down except in some special internal engine fasteners.
