Nami needs to set up an attack while robin just needs to say a few words but even then robin has alot of techniques which would help like she could just use hanagasa or sprout arms to quickly move her out the way. Robin is a really bad matchup for nami since she could easily disarm her then clutch since nami doesn't have enough strength. On the one hand, yeah, that original design is absurd, and excessive, and too many women in One Piece have the same body type straight out of hentai. Not thrilled by it, not in the slightest. Most of what I have seen of her is paired with Lucian. It seems the 2 champs have pretty good synergy, as Nami can E Lucian to give him extremely high burst. I could defenitely see Lucain+Nami being picked at worlds, though I don't think nami works well with every ADC.
I still don't like the fact that Nami got a powerup through the ability of Big Mom, and it is not much a difficult feat for Big Mom to even create a being like Zeus. Nami's powerup seems cheap and artificial that could be lost anytime. It's precisely because he's part of Big Mom's soul that made this happen I believe.
As a Nami main, I find that it really doesn't depend on the Nami all that much. Sure, she can enable Lucian with her E, but if her Lucian is bad then he won't be able to use her E effectively. As a result, look to punish bad all-ins from the Lucian. Especially rn, Nami just has to put E on Lucian and bounce W off of him.
Nami’s most important thing is her passive. Its movement speed is extremely important, start her heal ability and use that in lane to poke and heal. Late game, be using your abilities to speed your carry around the fight. Her E grants her passive speed and applies a slow when the user attacks, very good for kiting.

Nami portrays a good example of a mother & Big Mom a bad example. Nami wants to protect a child, when she sees that theres danger near or when see sees how a child is abused. Big Mom on the other hand abuses her own children & wants to kill everyone even a child if they not "behave". They are opposites from each other & Oda wants to emphazise that.

lasipoo • 7 yr. ago. I played it a couple times and the lane was just a stalemate because if Nami landed a bubble Rakan would just W the adc as well, and vice versa, but yeah idk I need to play it more but I feel Rakan has the advantage because his E was denying nami's ebb and flow.
